After a brief hiatus while traveling and re-tooling, Aegis Linux is still here and being developed. Just a quick couple of updates. 1. We have disabled the message boards for now until we re-tool them so we keep the spammers at bay. We have been receiving far to many spammer posts and registrations. 2. We are getting ready to remaster a build on the excellent PCLinuxOS 2007 with enhancements we discussed earlier like the excellent KBFX and usability tools like the GUI and inclusion of XAMPP to make a user friendly environment. 3. A weekly update on progress will occur on the site here so everyone can know how things are moving. So some new screenshots coming soon, and an iso for astronauts who like to play with distros. Head on over to the image gallery to take a look at the first screen shots of Aegis Linux Desktop Edition. There are some nice examples of the innovative start menu using KBFX.
